Civil society organizations and their role in combating school bullying
Abstract
This study adopts a social analysis framework, utilizing a historical methodology. It concludes that bullying behavior is widespread within school environments and can escalate into violence. The study also highlights that domestic violence and its effects contribute to the emergence of school bullying. Furthermore, civil society organizations—particularly those aligned with educational frameworks or engaged in educational initiatives—play a significant role in addressing this issue. The study emphasizes that these organizations, in collaboration with official or other entities, can develop serious strategies to combat school bullying.
Finally, the study recommends prioritizing children’s welfare and nurturing them as future builders through coordinated efforts among families, schools, and civil society organizations. This approach aims to confront school bullying and encourage researchers to conduct further studies on this phenomenon, especially given the crises facing contemporary society.
