Determining the appropriate amount of triple compound fertilizer (N.P.K) for the productivity of some summer fruit and vegetable crops in Al-Zubair District using GIS
Abstract
This research aims to determine the appropriate amount of triple compound fertilizer (N.P.K.) for the productivity of fruit and vegetable crops, based on the specific needs of these crops, and some of the physical characteristics of the soil, including soil porosity, apparent and actual density, and moisture content, which includes its field capacity, available water, and permanent wilting point, as well as the soil weight for effective root depth and the amount of nutrients available in organic fertilizers in the soil. The amount of fertilizer for the watercress crop using the three fertilizers was (43.3) (21.76) (78 kg), for the cucumber crop (28) (9.3) (37.3 kg), for the okra crop (1.5) (0.625 kg) (1.75), and for the eggplant crop (1.75) (0.625 kg). (45) (50.3) (80.3 kg) respectively
