Moral Hypocrisy Among Government Employees
Abstract
The current research aims to identify "moral hypocrisy" among government employees. To achieve this goal, the researchers selected a sample of (400) employees for the year (2026). The researchers constructed a moral hypocrisy scale based on Festinger's theory of cognitive dissonance. The researchers also performed statistical analysis of the items and verified the psychometric properties of validity and reliability. The researchers concluded that government employees exhibit moral hypocrisy. There are no statistically significant differences in moral hypocrisy among government employees based on gender (male and female) or marital status (married and unmarried).
