Abstract
The objectives of the study were as follows
Bias for the status quo among divorced people. The significance of statistical differences in (bias for the status quo) among divorced people according to the variables of gender, residence, economic status, and educational attainment. The researcher used the descriptive, correlational method. In order to measure the research variables of (bias toward the status quo). There is a statistically significant difference in bias for the status quo according to the gender variable and in favor of males, and there is a difference in bias for the status quo according to the housing variable and in favor of the city center, and there is a difference in bias for the status quo according to the economic status variable, and there is a difference in bias for the status quo according to the educational attainment variable.
