The Single and complex Spatial Image in the Poetry of Ibrahim Al-Kufahi
Abstract
This research seeks to study and analyze the single and complex spatial image in the poetry of the Jordanian poet Ibrahim Al-Kufahi, in light of the inductive descriptive approach. To research the nature of the artistic structure of the poetic image, and how the poet used places in his poetry, and how he created the single and compound spatial image in it. The Places Employed in the Poems were Local Places Such as Irbid, Amman, Zarqa, and Petra, and Arab places, such as Jerusalem, Riyadh, Mecca, Medina, Jeddah, and the Levant.
The Study Concluded to Build An Integrated Critical Perception of the Place in the Poetry of Al-Kofahi, in Terms of Nature, Function and Employment, Stemming From the Complete Poetic Works, this Study Revealed that the Place When Ibrahim Al-Kofahi is a Place Linked to the Inner Sense of the Poet, and That it is A Complex Psychological Place, Based On The Mixing of the Spiritual with the Material with the Temporal Through the Temporal Retrievals that were Inflicted on the Poet in the Poetic Moment, the Place Has Deeper than the Physical Geometric Dimensions Realistic, but Sometimes Turns Into a Soul, Heart And Feeling.
